A complete working set built around the rhythm of a wood-fired oven.

The G.a Wood-Fired Pizza Tool Set brings together five purpose-built tools for launching, turning, managing the fire, handling food, and maintaining the oven between bakes. Each tool has a clear role, creating a more organized workflow from the first pizza to the final cleanup.

Five Tools for the Wood-Fired Oven

The set includes:

  • 12" × 14" Perforated Launching Peel — for transferring pizzas, flatbreads, and baked foods into and out of the oven
  • 9" Round Turning Peel — for lifting, rotating, and repositioning pizzas during baking
  • Ash Rake — for moving ash, wood, and embers to help manage the cooking area
  • Stainless Steel Pizza Fork — for controlled handling and repositioning of food around the oven
  • Brass-Bristle Oven Brush — for clearing loose flour, ash, and baked-on residue from suitable oven surfaces

Together, the five tools support the essential stages of live-fire pizza cooking.

Launch with Better Control

The rectangular launching peel provides a stable surface for supporting stretched dough during transfer.

Its perforated aluminum head allows excess flour or semolina to fall away before the pizza reaches the baking surface, helping reduce unnecessary residue inside the oven.

A tapered front edge helps the peel move beneath dough and finished pizzas with less resistance.

Turn Without Removing the Pizza

The 9" round turning peel is designed for more precise movement once the pizza is inside the oven.

Its compact head makes it easier to lift and rotate the crust as it bakes, allowing you to reposition the pizza around hotter or cooler areas without removing it completely.

Manage the Fire

The ash rake gives you a dedicated tool for organizing the cooking area inside a wood-fired oven.

Use it to reposition ash, charcoal, wood, or embers, clear space on the oven floor, and help maintain a more controlled live-fire setup.

The ash rake is intended for fire management and should not be used as a food-contact tool.

Handle with Precision

The stainless steel pizza fork provides another point of control when working around baked foods and hot oven surfaces.

Its slim form makes it useful for small adjustments, checking position, or assisting with food handling when a larger peel would be unnecessary.

Clean Between Bakes

The brass-bristle oven brush helps clear loose flour, ash, crumbs, and stubborn cooking residue from suitable pizza stones and oven floors.

Its extended handle provides additional reach into deeper oven areas while allowing the cleaning action to remain controlled from outside the cooking chamber.

Hard-Anodized Aluminum Peels

Both pizza peels are made from hard-anodized aluminum, combining low weight with a durable, wear-resistant surface suited to repeated pizza making.

The dark matte finish gives the tools a clean, understated appearance consistent with the G.a Pizza collection.

Extended Handles for Better Reach

Long handles provide useful working distance around hot outdoor and wood-fired ovens.

Silicone-covered grip areas help provide a more secure and comfortable hold while launching, turning, cleaning, and managing the fire.

Made for Live-Fire Cooking

The set is particularly well suited to:

  • Wood-fired pizza ovens
  • Outdoor brick ovens
  • Neapolitan-style pizza
  • Artisan bread
  • Longer outdoor cooking sessions
  • Pizza makers who actively manage fire, ash, and oven surfaces between bakes

Individual tools may also be suitable for other pizza ovens where their dimensions and materials are appropriate.

Care & Use

The pizza peels are designed for active launching, turning, and retrieving and should not remain inside the oven during preheating or baking.

Use the ash rake only for managing ash, wood, charcoal, and embers.

Use the oven brush only on surfaces appropriate for brass-bristle cleaning and in accordance with the oven manufacturer’s care instructions.

Allow all tools to cool appropriately after use and clean each component according to its material and care requirements.
